Principal's Message
Welcome to North Country; We are thrilled to have you as part of our family!
Welcome to North Country; We are thrilled to have you as part of our family!
From the summer of 1990 when we opened as a year around school, North Country firmly established its own identity, our own way of doing things; the North Country way. While traditions and people have come and gone, the North Country way remains strong.
Our staff of dedicated educators works hard to provide our children with the best educational experience possible. The programs and practices we implement are designed to teach the whole child and to prepare our students to not only be academically successful but to inspire them to be the best individuals they can be. Beyond academics, we teach kindness, respect and perseverance. Our goal is to promote college and career, moving students closer to their goals. Most importantly, we are teaching skills of self discipline and laying a foundation that will help our students make good decisions now and in the future.
Opportunities for our students vary widely, from video production; STEAM education including computer coding, 3D engineering/design/printing, robotics; intervention and enrichment; leadership opportunities; art; and so much more, there is sure to be something of interest to everyone.
Parents and Families are integral to creating a positive school experience. We encourage you to take an active role in the education process. There are a number of ways to get involved: attending parent/family nights, volunteering in the classroom, student-led conferences, PAWS PTO, and School Site Council to name just a few.
We welcome you to visit the campus and see these great things for yourself. Come experience the North Country way.
Sincerely,
Jason Farrel
Principal
