Good Afternoon,

As a valued member of our staff and community, you understand the commitment Center Joint Unified School District has to the following:
· Providing instruction that will support all students to move successfully through the
grades and graduate prepared for post-secondary college and career
· Creating a safe, positive learning environment for all students
· Increasing student, parental and family involvement

CJUSD Meet and Greet Car Wash

On October 19th from 10 am to 2 pm, the Center Joint Unified School District would like for you to stop by the Center High School Stadium parking lot and get a FREE car wash. We will have Board, district and school staff members from all school sites present and ready to shine up your car. While you wait, we will have hot dogs on the grill and an opportunity to meet and talk with some of our wonderful school board members and staff from across the district. If you don’t want a car wash, just stop by and say hello!

Parent Informative Series #1

Strategies and Resources to Strengthen Your Child's Well-Being will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at the DO Annex Training Room (more information on the flyer). Participants will learn key strategies and tools to support students who experience and cope with mental health struggles. Our well-informed CJUSD experts will take participants through a journey of understanding the neurobiology of stress, the impact trauma and stress have on the child and parent and its unconscious factors that can creep into the household and classroom. Participants will learn various strategies that address and support student mental health needs. Strategies will focus on self-care, growth mindset, practical skills/exercises that students can be helped to acquire, which they can use at home and at school and other areas in their lives.
